The Mall of America broke ground in the summer of 1989, and it was completed in the summer of 1992.
It currently houses 500-600 stores and around 50-60 restaurants.
However, it also has an indoor theme park, and lots of attractions to enjoy with your family and friends.
You can enjoy the Mall of America during the daytime or at night.
It is located in Bloomington within a few miles from the Minneapolis/St. Paul (MSP) International airport.
What’s equally important is there are lots of hotels across the street or within a block or two of the mall.
Nonetheless, it was always told, that you need at least three days to see the entire Mall of America.
But, if you are traveling and your flight has a layover, you can go to the mall for a quick visit.
Catch the Metro Transit bus or Light Rail system to get you to and from the mall.
It will pick you up right at the airport, and take you directly to the mall.
Also, if you are staying at a nearby hotel, no need to get a rental car.
In the same way as a hotel shuttle, Metro Transit will pick you up at the airport and take you to your hotel and back.
Minnesota Lakes
Minnesota is known as the ‘Land of 10,000 Lakes”.
Furthermore, no other state has this many lakes.
There are lakes for fishing during the summer and fall months.
Also, lakes that freeze up are great for ice fishing.
However, there are lakes for boating, lakes for fishing, lakes for swimming, and lakes for viewing.
